Celebrate American Grown Flowers Month with FabulousFlorals.com
Fresh, Seasonal Blooms Grown in the USA
Only about one in five flowers sold in the U.S. is actually grown here. That’s why July is so important. American Grown Flowers Month is a nationwide celebration of local flower farms and the people who support them. It’s a time to appreciate seasonal beauty, uplift domestic growers, and make mindful choices that add more meaning to every bouquet.
At FabulousFlorals.com, we proudly source many of our blooms from American flower farms, especially between March and October when domestic flowers are at their peak. Our mission is to help you enjoy premium, farm-fresh flowers at home while honoring the growers behind each stem.
Why American Grown Flowers Matter
Every flower has a story. Choosing American-grown blooms means supporting:
- Family-owned farms across the country
- Sustainable growing methods and shorter supply chains
- Fresher flowers that travel fewer miles
Many of our partner farms ship via water transportation. This more energy-efficient method reduces carbon emissions and supports our commitment to sustainability.
We are proud to work with Certified American Grown farms and to support the Slow Flowers movement, which promotes transparency, seasonality, and local sourcing.
Seasonal Favorites Available Now
All month long, we’re highlighting the best American-grown flowers in season. Our cooler is stocked weekly with blooms that are often harvested just hours before shipping.
Here are a few of our current favorites:
- Sweet peas in lavender, coral, and blush
- Sunflowers in golden yellow and strawberry blonde
- Bearded iris in rich seasonal tones
- Delphinium, lisianthus, cosmos, and larkspur
- Accents like yarrow, limonium, and fresh-cut blackberry fruit clusters
These flowers are vibrant, long-lasting, and grown close to home.

Meet the Growers Behind the Blooms
Behind every bouquet is a farmer who cares deeply about quality. Many of the flowers we offer are hand-harvested and sorted with care, ensuring freshness and seasonality.
Throughout July, we’ll be spotlighting stories from some of the growers we work with. Their dedication makes it possible for you to enjoy exceptional flowers without compromise.
How You Can Help Spread the Word
Most Americans don’t realize that the majority of flowers sold in the U.S. are imported. While the U.S. floral industry is strong, many farms still depend on seasonal demand and consumer awareness to thrive.
You can make a difference with small actions:

Flowers Are More Than Decor — They Are Self-Care
Fabulous Florals proudly supports That Flower Feeling, a national campaign by CalFlowers that encourages everyday wellness through flowers. The message is simple:
Flowers. Self-care made easy.
Research shows that flowers help reduce stress, elevate mood, and bring calm into your space. Whether you’re gifting a friend, refreshing your home, or creating a centerpiece just for fun, you’re making space for joy and well-being.
Support Local. Bloom Beautifully.
At FabulousFlorals.com, we believe in beauty with purpose. Many of our blooms come from domestic farms, especially during the spring, summer, and fall seasons. We ship directly from our California-based cooler to homes across the country.
This July, let’s celebrate the power of fresh-cut flowers, the growers who nurture them, and the joy of living with blooms every day.
Because when you choose American Grown, you’re not just buying flowers. You’re supporting something bigger.
