Hello, everybody! Alicia Schwede here from Flirty Fleurs, popping in to share another quick DIY arrangement with you. For this particular arrangement, I’ll be using four different floral materials sent by Fabulous Florals.

First up is this bunch of greenery. It’s so awesome—it’s a mix of cedar, firs, and pines, all considered one bunch. One bunch goes a long way; you can make quite a few arrangements with it.

Next, I’ll be using white hydrangeas and my new favorite rose this year: Veggie Roses. It’s spelled V-E-G-G-I-E Rose. These roses are an awesome green color, super long-lasting.

For my fourth material today, I’ll be using some paperwhites. I have this fun little Christmas tin that I picked up at a thrift store. I’m going to start out super easy—no mechanics here. I’m keeping it nice and quick for you because I know everyone’s in a hurry during the holidays. You just want to order something, put it together, and get on with your other projects, like Christmas parties and such.

So, let’s get started. I’m using the mix of pines and cedar to create a base. I love how the cedar falls over the edge of the container—it’s so pretty. As I add the greenery, I remove any needles that might sit in the water. It’s super easy—just run your fingers along the stem to strip off the excess. I’m placing the greenery around the rim of the container so it cascades down and gives us a nice, festive look.

Next, I’m grabbing the white hydrangeas. When I cut hydrangeas, I cut them twice: once at an angle and then again perpendicular to open up the stem. Hydrangeas are very thirsty flowers, so this helps them take up as much water as possible. I’m using three hydrangeas and arranging them in a triangle formation. Once they’re placed, I’ll add a few pieces of greenery to the center to keep the look consistent.

Now for the Veggie Roses! These came from Fabulous Florals, and they’re absolutely delightful. I love using a lazy Susan for arranging—it lets me turn the container as I work so I can keep everything consistent. I’m using 11 roses for this arrangement. If you order one bunch of these roses, which contains 25 stems, you’ll have enough for two arrangements, depending on the size of your container. My container is about 6 inches wide. The roses have a beautiful creamy white center that pairs perfectly with the greenery and hydrangeas.

To finish, I’m adding the paperwhites. These flowers, also known as narcissus, smell amazing! I’m using five stems, which is half a bunch, for this arrangement. They add a lovely vertical element and a delightful fragrance.

And there you have it! This arrangement includes one bunch of greenery, three hydrangeas, 11 roses, and five paperwhites. You’ll still have plenty of leftover greenery, so you can easily make two or three arrangements with these materials. These would look adorable lined along a rectangular table for the holidays.

Thank you so much for joining me. Happy holidays, and happy arranging!
