Care and Handling:
- Remove the wrapping sleeve and cut each stem at least 1/4 inch (0.6 cm) with floral shears or a sharp knife.
- Place the stem in a clean vase of warm water at 100°F (38°C). Use a tall, slender vase to support the stem.
- Ensure the vase is always filled with plenty of water and change the water every 3 days.
- Clean the vase thoroughly each time to reduce bacteria and prolong vase life.
- Cymbidium stems can last for weeks with proper care.
- Add floral greens to the vase for an easy DIY arrangement.
- Individual blooms can also be used for corsages or boutonnieres.
- Receive orchids at least two days before your event to allow proper hydration.
